PAS-UMNO Tie-Up Looms As Race Card Is Played In Johor

The direction of recent political manoeuvres should be clear enough as Umno Johor has defiantly struck out alone.

Umno Negeri Sembilan has followed suit, with state elections announced in both states on July 11 and Aug 1.

Nevermind that both state chapters backstabbed their partners in Madani.

The next part of the puzzle is that PAS has ditched the weakened Bersatu of Muhyiddin Yassin and Azmin Ali.

Finally the Hamzah Zainuddin faction of Bersatu will announce a new party called Reset.

Umno plus PAS plus Reset. The new all-Malay alliance is clear.

Some believe they have deliberately chosen July 11 so that Singaporean-based Malaysians wouldn’t vote.

UMNO doesn’t want the Chinese to come back. That’s why Onn Hafiz is openly playing the racism card.

The endgame of all this is the three parties are going to work together to make Zahid Hamidi prime minister of Malayisa, with PAS enjoying the lion’s share of minister’s posts.

They are roping in as many people as possible. Hishamuddin Hussein,
KJ, Mas Ermieyati. And more. And despite what they’re telling supporters, they don’t want Najib freed from jail.

PAS not popular in Johor so the tie-up will continue to be done behind the scenes for now.

Rafizi’s role is not clear, but his party is most likely to act as spoiler in marginal seats.

What is very clear is that the right wing partnership among PAS and Umno is coming, and that is bad news for all of us.
