PKR Youth information chief Danish Hairudin has rightly lambasted Umno’s Akmal Salih over his proposal for UMNO and PAS to work together in the Melaka state elections.
He said that this does not cause any fear for AMK but is confident that it opens up more space for Pakatan Harapan (PH).
He added that this clearly show the political unrest currently plaguing the party, and that Akmal was only expressing his personal view.
”I would like to emphasize that AMK and PH have never been afraid to contest. We have been through various political battlegrounds, whether in government or opposition,” said Danish.
He added that he was confident in the strength of the policies, track record and the support of the people who want mature politics and an administration with integrity.
“If the UMNO Youth Chief’s call is to choose to be with PAS in the upcoming PRN, that is their right.
“However, the results of the 15th General Election (GE15) prove that the political landscape of Melaka has changed,” said Danish who suggested that Akmal was afraid of facing the voters.
He added that voters today judged based on a party’s ability to govern and political honesty, not just racist rhetoric,”
Last month Johor PKR Youth chief Faezuddin Puad told Akmal to remain consistent in his respect for the judiciary, warning against selectively invoking public opinion over what he termed as unfavourable court decisions when ex-premier Najib Abdul Razak’s house arrest bid was rejected.
Dekapital has long identified Akmal as a Trojan horse who does more damage than good to the Madani government.
Oi Zahid! Buang la si Akmal!
